Blown Away. My favorite show, Impractical Jokers, just sent me the Mother Lode of Swag Bags

IJI’m not a big TV guy.  However, I love comedy.  Laughing is my favorite thing aside from “bah chicka bah bah” time.  🙂 Having done improv and stand-up comedy since the mid-90s, it takes something special to get my seal of comedy approval.  And I can say, unequivocally, that Impractical Jokers is the funniest thing that I’ve ever seen.  I can’t even tell you what is second place.  Impractical Jokers is that funny.

So, whenever I happen to watch an episode, I’m always tweeting about how funny it was.

A couple of weeks ago, TruTV reached out to me and asked me for my snail mail address.  I thought for sure, they’d prank with a package of dog-poo or something… however, what they sent was the most amazing swag bag of all-time.  I’ve received a lot of cool things from companies, brands, authors and startups over the years… but this package takes the cake, so far.

First of all, they’ve included an amazing Marmot messenger bag.

Two Midland X-tra Talk Walkie Talkies with a 36 mile broadcast range.  OMG, my kids LOVE this already.  Walkie Talkies?  Are you kidding me?  These are like $75 brand new.  Apparently, the Impractical Jokers have used these in a previous episode on a prank.  I recall seeing the episode, but don’t recall which one exactly.

DVR_BryleNext, they included some video camera glasses. The DVR Bryle glasses are pretty cool.  You can’t even tell that they are capable of taking video or photos.  It’s actually an HD camera.  Way less douchey than Google Glass.  Now, I can take video and photos without being a “glasshole.”

ImpracticalJokersSeasonOneDVDAlso, inside the pack was the first season DVD, autographs from each of the Impractical Jokers, a t-shirt, a comic book of the group and a USB with a preview of their new series, Joker’s Wild.

I put together a quick video of the swag that they sent.  I’m literally blown away and incredibly grateful that my favorite show sent me out such an amazing pack of stuff.  They didn’t have to do that!  They could have just sent me a $5 shirt and I’d have been happy!

Thanks Impractical Jokers!  I love you guys!

Here is my video opening up the box of goodies.

Here’s a video of some of the most hilarious pranks that they’ve pulled on each other so far.

I’ve shared my love of Impractical Jokers to many other top social media pros, as well. They agree! It’s hilarious! Watch it sometime! You won’t be sorry!

That’s one of those shows I didn’t want to like, but it’s actually pretty funny
